<a href="http://usatfnj.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">National Masters USATF 5K XC Championship</a><a href="http://usatfnj.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> and </a><a href="http://usatfnj.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">NJ USATF Open/Masters 5K XC Championships </a>both took place at Deer Path Park in Readington last Sunday and one local man from Parsippany did his hometown proud. Charlie Slaughter, 58, competed in the USATF-NJ Garden State 5K XC and placed third in his gender and 73 overall. He was the only man in his age division.He was second in the Masters male age graded results and 24th in the Masters male graded results. <a href="http://www.compuscore.com/cs2013/october/utfgsxc.htm#12:00%20PACE" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">His time was 20:25.11 and his pace was 6:34 per mile</a>.
