Parsippany Named A Top-10 Safest Small City In New Ranking
Parsippany came in 9th in a new ranking of safest small cities in America.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany has been named the ninth safest small city in America in a new ranking released by Frontpoint Security.
Parsippany logged just 7.72 property crimes per 1,000 residents according to the property crime data from the 2017 FBI UCR report that Frointpoint analyzed. The rankings did not look at violent crime.
Parsippany was the third smallest city looked at in the rankings, and was one of four New Jersey towns to make the cut. It was the only Morris County town to land in the top 50.

This isn't the first time Parsippany has been recognized for being safe. It's been lauded by Value Penguin, Safewise, and other similar consumer watchdog groups for its low level of crime over the years.
