Parsippany Roadway Closing, Delays Expected: See Where

Police will be present to assist in traffic control, and delays are expected.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A Parsippany road is going to be closed before and after this weekend, and officials are warning drivers of potential delays.

On Friday and Monday, the 1.1.-mile stretch of Jefferson Road will be closed for roadwork.

Road paving will take place each day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with work beginning near the Parsippany Road end and finishing on the Smith Road end.

Police will be directing traffic during the roadwork. To access businesses on the closed portion of Jefferson Road, speak with officers present.

Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story indicated that Jefferson Road would be closed for the entire weekend. It in fact will only be closed on Friday, Nov. 21, and Monday, Nov. 24.
