PARSIPPANY, NJ — The polls have closed, and the results for Parsippany’s Mayoral Primary Election are being tallied. Unofficial results show incumbent Mayor James Barberio will be on the mayoral ticket for Parsippany's 2025 general election.
Two Republicans vied for a spot on the mayoral ticket come November — Barberio and Councilman Justin Musella.

One Democrat ran uncontested for the democratic nomination — Pulkit Desai.

- James Barberio, Republican: 3,115 (55.42%)
- Justin Musella, Republican: 2,497 (44.42%)
- Pulkit Desai, Democrat: 3,172 (97.96%)
The Morris County Clerk's Office shows 100% of districts reporting.
The New Jersey General Election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
