Parsippany Schools Named Among Best Communities For Music Education
This award recognizes teachers, administrators, students, and community members who help make music part of a well-rounded education.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Parsippany-Troy Hills School District has received a national recognition for its music program, making this the sixth year in a row.
The "Best Communities for Music Education" designation from The NAMM Foundation recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education.
The NAAM Foundation is a non-profit supported in part by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.

Parsippany is one of 975 districts across the nation to be recognized for its music education programs. The district celebrated this award in a post earlier in April, congratulating "our dedicated students, teachers, administrators, and community members."
