Parsippany-Troy Hills School Calendar For 2024-25: Key Dates To Know

PARSIPPANY, NJ— Summer is almost over for Parsippany-Troy Hills students. The first day of school in the district is Tuesday, Sept. 3.

As of June, students who were eligible for meal benefits by direct certification or application will continue to receive benefits until Oct. 15. After that, to determine eligibility to receive benefits for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year, a new application must be submitted.

Depending on where in the district students live, grades K-5 attend one of the following elementary schools: Troy Hills, Rockaway Meadow, Northvail, Mt. Tabor, Littleton, Lake Parsippany, Lake Hiawatha, Knollwood, Intervale, or Eastlake.

Students in grades 6-8 attend either Brooklawn Middle School or Central Middle School.
Grades 9-12 attend either Parsippany High School or Parsippany Hills High School.

Here are some of the important 2024-25 school year dates to get on the calendar:

• Start date: Sep. 3
• Family-teacher conferences (half-days): Oct. 28-30
• NJEA Convention, no school: Nov. 8-9
• Thanksgiving break: Nov. 28-29
• Winter break: Dec. 24-Jan. 1
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school: Monday, Jan. 2
• Presidents Day: Monday, no school: Feb. 17
• Elementary family-teacher conference (half-days for elementary students): Mar. 3-5
• Professional development day, no school: Mar. 24
• Spring break: April 14-18
• Professional development day, no school: June 3
• Last day for seniors: June 20
• Parsippany High School and Parsippany Hills High School commencement: June 20
