Parsippany Welcomes Home Army Sgt. From Afghanistan Tour

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – If you see Sergeant Hector Umana around his hometown of Parsippany, thank him. Stop and thank him.

Sgt. Umana is home for two weeks after a tour in Kabul, Afghanistan as part of the Special Operations Joint Task Force. Umana was part of the 10th Mountain Division attached to Sojtf-a where they were attacked on Aug. 7, 2015.

After Umana’s two-week break, he’ll be deployed to Germany for two years.
