In an emailed newsletter to the Parsippany School District sent Saturday, October 1, there was mention of discussions between the School Board and Superintendent regarding the upcoming housing developments in Parsippany and the anticipated rise in student enrollment.

The District called out rising preschool enrollment. The newsletter noted that aside from just normal September admissions, children with special needs are accepted into the program as soon as they reach the age of three.

The District is planning to expand Littleton School (near Parsippany Hills High School) in three phases, as it considers consolidating the current PreK classrooms (Lake Hiawatha School and Eastlake) into Littleton. The newsletter states, "The district plans to expand Littleton Elementary School in a phased approach at no additional cost to residents."
