PARSIPPANY, NJ — After two-plus years of COVID-19 interruptions, Parsippany's summer concert series will return this week.

This year's slate will feature two shows at Veteran's Memorial Park (1839 Route 46) — both beginning at 7:30 p.m.:

  • Thursday, July 28: Street Hassle
  • Thursday, Aug. 25: Overboard

The summer concert series hasn't quite returned to its pre-pandemic frequency — the township hosted five shows in 2019. But after the township canceled it entirely in 2020, officials have hosted concerts in a limited capacity the past two summers.

The township notes that pets aren't allowed in the park during concerts. The concerts are sponsored in part by a "generous donation" from Provident Bank, according to the township.
