Price Drop! Sign Up For Parsippany Summer Camp Today For Kids in K-7th

Parsippany recently lowered prices, and has both full and half day camps - arts & crafts, sports, games, playground equipment and fun trips!

Summer camp in Parsippany brings together kids throughout our town and provides outdoor recreation, games organized by experienced counselors, fun trips, crafts, friendship and creates lasting memories.

The Town recently reduced its prices. Kids can attend an all day playground at Smith Field in Parsippany for just $750 for the full 8 weeks between June 26 and August 18 (closed July 4). Half day playground is just $350 for the entire same 8 weeks (8:30am - 12:30pm) at Veteran’s Park.

If you’re undecided, I would encourage you to not miss out on the opportunity to have a little time slot each day where kids get to be kids, and enjoy being outside with enthusiastic counselors who are not just watching but encouraging them to participate in sports and activities. It's a nice break for parents, too. If a full day seems too much, the half day worked great for us - we would still have the rest of the afternoon to do other things. Plus, the price was so reasonable that missing a week for vacation or a day for a trip here and there was fine.

When my kids were younger, they really enjoyed that time with their friends - getting a break from their parents, but still safe among the counselors, many of whom are younger people that the kids looked up to. Of the many activity choices available, mine always did the arts & crafts, volleyball, free play on the playground and loved special events like tie-dyeing t-shirts. They not only saw friends from their school, they got to meet other kids throughout the town, and have since maintained long lasting friendships. They LOVED the day trips - Splashplex waterpark is fun, the movies were fun - they so looked forward to venturing out kind of on their own, but with a group of their friends and feeling secure with the counselors watching out for them.

Camp runs from grades Kindergarten through 7th grade. You can register online. Available trips include Liberty Science Center, Monster Mini Golf, Splashplex Waterpark, Wild West City and the local swim club - trips are extra cost and optional.

Camp is way more fun when there are plenty of kids to see and hang out with, so hopefully parents of younger kids will sign up and continue this fun, reasonably-priced, local tradition.
