Parsippany Board Of Education Election Results

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Residents in Parsippany elected four local school board representatives during Tuesday's election.
There are two separate elections for the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education. Three candidates ran for three three-year terms, and two candidates are ran for one one-year term.
Unless a write-in candidate receives more votes, the three unopposed candidates were elected to three year terms, according to unofficial vote results: Susy Golderer, Frank Neglia, and Judy Mayer.

The one-year term is contested. According to unofficial vote results Andrew Choffo will beat out Kendra Von Achen. He received 5,469 votes while she received 4,492.
"I want to thank and share my heartfelt appreciation to everyone that supported me. This was not an easy race and I couldn’t have won re-election without you," Choffo said. "I look forward to working hard for you as a Board of Education Member this year and in 2019."

"Thank you to everyone for your support. I just got final results and I did NOT win. But this isn't the end for me. I will have more tomorrow," Von Achen wrote on a campaign page Tuesday night. It was not yet updated with more specifics Wednesday morning.
