
PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Robert “Bo” Rizzolo was a dedicated law enforcement officer for decades.
The longtime Parsippany resident died recently at the age of 76.
Rizzolo was born in Newark and lived there for 32 years before moving to Parsippany in 1971. He began his law enforcement career with the Newark Police Department where he worked from 1967 until 1971. He then transferred to the Parsippany Police Department where he worked for 27 years before retiring as a detective in 1998.

Rizzolo is survived by three sons, a daughter, three step-children, and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Par-Troy Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 25. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, 901 E. Street, NW (Suite 100), Washington D.C. 20004-2025.
