PARSIPPANY, NJ — Those looking to give back to the community, and maybe grab a bite to eat, won’t have to look far.
Certain Doherty-owned Applebee’s locations in New Jersey and Long Island are participating in the annual “Fill the Bus” program. The program entails residents donating school supplies to local families in need ahead of the school year.
Parsippany’s Applebee’s location, located at 1057 US-46, is accepting donations through Aug. 23, which is when the bus will arrive to be filled. Notebooks, backpacks, writing utensils, and other school supplies are encouraged for donation, as well as cash donations.
