Septic License Renewal Applications Being Accepted In Parsippany

The Health Department has begun accepting license applications, with the current licensing period ending on Dec. 31, the township said.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The septic system license period is expected to expire in Parsippany on Dec. 31, with the township’s Health Department accepting applications for the next three-year period, according to the Parsippany-Troy Hills Health Department.

Parsippany residents with a septic system, need to have it licensed for a three-year period and provide proof of septic pumping, the township said.

The license needs to be renewed every three years, with the next period from Jan. 1, 2023 through Dec. 31, 2025, said the township.

Residents will need to send in an application available online here under “documents," then the “Septic License to Operate” application. Along with the application, $50 must be submitted, plus proof that the system was pumped by a licensed “septic sludge removal operator,” the township said.

Applications can be mailed to: Parsippany Health Department, 1130 Knoll Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034.
