Snow, Rain In Parsippany: How Much Will Fall, When Will It Stop?

A wet and ugly morning could lead to more snow into Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service. Here's what to watch for.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A wet and ugly morning could lead to more snow into Wednesday evening in Parsippany, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters anticipate a combination of snow and rain before noon and then more snow into the evening, with 1-2 inches of snow accumulation possible. While that would pale in comparison to many of New Jersey's storms this winter, the snow and sleet could still cause "significant" disruptions for drivers around Morris County, according to the National Weather Service.

The agency doesn't expect travel to become too difficult — outside of higher-terrain locations of more than 1,000 feet. Much of the precipitation's worst will taper off Wednesday afternoon, the National Weather Service forecasts.
