Students Unite To Fight Cancer At Annual Parsippany Relay For Life
This year's Relay For Life event will feature community activities to celebrate cancer survivors and honor those who have died.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany Relay for Life teams are gearing up for this year's event to support the fight against cancer, celebrate survivors, and honor the memory of loved ones lost.
All community members are invited to walk the track at Parsippany Hills High School during Relay for Life, which will also feature food trucks, contests, games, and more, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Relay for Life kicks off on May 10 at Parsippany Hills High School, located at 20 Rita Drive, Morris Plains, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year’s event is expected to draw hundreds of participants, including Parsippany student leaders who have played a key role in coordinating and promoting the initiative throughout the township.

As in previous years, the event will begin by honoring local cancer survivors. Attendees are encouraged to line the track and cheer on the survivors during their special lap.
This year’s activities will include a water balloon toss, face painting, an ice cream truck, Jazzercise, beaded bracelet making, a fire truck display, and a variety of yard games.

At the end of the night, participants will light luminarias and take time to honor those who have been lost to cancer. Anyone may dedicate a luminaria in honor or in memory of a loved one.
