Thousands Without Power In Parsippany

It could be hours before power is restored, according to officials.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Nearly 6,000 customers lost power on Monday morning, according to FirstEnergy Co.

According to energy officials, around 5,770 Parsippany customers are without power, roughly 24 percent of the township's population.

Officials estimate power to be restored by 1 p.m. on Monday.
