Topgolf Is Coming To Parsippany, Construction Underway

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Golfers of all skills will not have to wait too much longer to work on their irons and have exceptional fun doing it, because construction for Parsippany’s Topgolf facility is officially underway.

The Parsippany Topgolf started construction last week, and it will be the third facility in the state once it's complete, following the Edison and Mount Laurel locations. The reportedly $30 million project will be located at 1269 Route 46, near the intersection of I-80 and I-280.

A Topgolf facility is essentially a driving range with several bays featuring golf-based games that use electronically tracked golf balls and automatically scored drives. Unlike a regular driving range, Topgolf is fitted with couches, televisions, heated lamps, air conditioning, and much more.

“If you've never been to a Topgolf venue before, think of it as a modern golf experience where anyone – including people who have never picked up a golf club and those who want to perfect their swing, can participate in the sport in a relaxed, no-pressure environment,” a Topgolf statement read.

Parsippany’s facility is planned to have 102 climate-controlled bays across three levels. The structure will also have a golf shop, bar, full kitchen, and more amenities.

Topgolf officials also project that the facility will employ roughly 350 to 400 workers.

Topgolf Parsippany is expected to open next summer.
