Touch-A-Truck Offers Family Fun In Parsippany

Community event offered toys and food.

Parsippany, N.J. โ€“ Perfect weather and a sense of community highlighted a great family day for Parsippany residents at the annual Kiwanis Club Touch-A-Trunk event.

Children were able to sit on fire trucks, ambulances, garbage trucks, street sweepers, Army trucks, police cars and others.

Children who visited the Parsippany Police Department booth received a badge from the Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Chief Paul Philipps, who have the kids a โ€œticketโ€ to the Dairy at Lake Hiawatha for a free ice cream.

Remote control cars and a drone were on hand as well.

All proceeds from the event will support local projects through the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany.
