Town Hall Menorah Lighting Scheduled In Parsippany For Chanukah 2024

Parsippany is hosting a menorah lighting later this month, and you're invited to join in the celebration. Here's what you need to know.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A menorah lighting ceremony is slated to take place at Parsippany Town Hall later this month, township officials confirmed.

The celebration, which is open to all members of the public, will take place at Parsippany Town Hall (1001 Parsippany Rd.) on Dec. 26 at 7 p.m., township officials said in a notice posted on social media.

This year, the eight-day festival of Chanukah (also spelled Hanukkah) begins the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Community leaders will stand with Mayor James R. Barberio and other officials to light the menorah, celebrating this cherished annual tradition that symbolizes hope and unity.

"Join us as we celebrate the Festival of Lights with our community. Let's come together for this special evening of unity and tradition," officials said.
