Tree Lighting, Winterfest, More: Parsippany Holiday Events

Several holiday events are returning to Parsippany this season.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The most wonderful time of the year is nearly upon us, and Parsippany is gearing up for it.

Once again, there are several holiday festivities taking place across Parsippany, and Patch has packed together the various township events for readers, with a festive bow on top.

Parsippany’s Winterfest 2025

  • When: Dec. 5, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Gazebo on N. Beverwyck Road
  • Who: Presented by Friends of Lake Hiawatha
  • What: Guests can expect holiday tunes, face painting, hot chocolate with cookies, and more. Santa Claus himself will be there, along with some elves. There will also be a children’s bicycle giveaway, thanks to Unity Bank.

Parsippany Holiday Tree Lighting

  • When: Dec. 6, 5 p.m.
  • Where: Parsippany Town Hall, 1001 Parsippany Blvd.
  • Who: Presented by Parsippany Recreation Department
  • What: “Santa will arrive to help the Mayor light the Township’s holiday tree, with festive performances by the Parsippany High School and Parsippany Hills High School choirs. After the lighting, families are invited inside Town Hall for photos with Santa, hot chocolate, and cookies.”

Merry Moments With Santa

  • When: Dec. 13, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 5 to 7 p.m., and Dec. 14, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Where: 33 Baldwin Road
  • Who: Presented by Parsippany Police Athletic League
  • What: A series of photo ops with Santa Claus. $25 per family, and an extra $10 for a photo printout. Slots are limited, and registration is online here.

*Parsippany has yet to announce a date for its annual Menorah Lighting, but keep an eye on Patch for updates.
