MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A vehicle fire and brush fire on I-287 southbound near Boonton has prompted commuting delays Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

As of 12 p.m., there’s a vehicle fire on I-287 southbound in the area of Exit 44 – US 202, near Boonton, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

Two of the three right lanes are currently closed, the agency said.
