Watch NY Jets Fumble Pronunciation Of NJ Town’s Name

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Police Athletic League of Parsippany (PAL) has a special New York Jets outing coming up, and ahead of the game, they’ve shared a video of the New York Jets attempting to pronounce their apparent mouthful of a township.

The attempt to pronounce Parsnip-, Parisip-, (excuse me,) Parsippany came easily to some players; however, others struggled before scoring.

The tongue-twisting video was shared on social media ahead of the Police Athletic League of Parsippany’s trip to MetLife Stadium. On Oct. 5, the community organization will watch the New York Jets play the Dallas Cowboys at 1 p.m., and some of the ticket proceeds will go toward PAL’s initiative.

Established in 1965, the Police Athletic League of Parsippany manages and hosts several programs across the township, including basketball, cheerleading, flag football, and wrestling events.

The program serves more than 4,000 children from Parsippany and the surrounding area with over 15 programs.
