The Police Athletic League of Parsippany is headed to a NY Jets game soon, and tickets are still available.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Police Athletic League of Parsippany (PAL) has a special New York Jets outing coming up, and ahead of the game, they’ve shared a video of the New York Jets attempting to pronounce their apparent mouthful of a township.
The attempt to pronounce Parsnip-, Parisip-, (excuse me,) Parsippany came easily to some players; however, others struggled before scoring.

About PAL
Established in 1965, the Police Athletic League of Parsippany manages and hosts several programs across the township, including basketball, cheerleading, flag football, and wrestling events.
The program serves more than 4,000 children from Parsippany and the surrounding area with over 15 programs.
PAL’s purpose is to:
- “Promote and advance generally the needs and welfare of youth without regard to race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin;
- Foster and encourage in the youth of the community a spirit of loyalty and faith in American traditions and institutions;
- Participate actively in constructive movements and endeavors for the promotion and safeguarding of the interests and general welfare of the youth of the community;
- Cultivate and improve the moral and civic standards of the youth of the community;
- Provide a safe and productive environment where the youth of the community can enjoy educational, social, and athletic activities under competent supervision;
- Further promote clean sportsmanship and good citizenship among boys and girls of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.”
