Whole Foods Construction Causing Road Closure In Parsippany

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Construction on the new Waterview Marketplace will cause some road closures Friday into Saturday, town officials said.

The ramp for Route 46 near the project will be closed starting shortly after 5 p.m. on Friday, officials said. The closure will last through Saturday, but an exact reopening time was not announced. NJ DOT will be conducing traffic control during the construction.

Storm drain instillation is the reason for the closure, officials said.

The marketplace, located on Route 46 between Waterview Boulevard and Intervale Road, is expected to open sometime in 2019, although an exact opening date has not yet been announced. In addition to a Whole Foods, a Shake Shack, Ulta Beauty, Orangetheory, Homesense, The Paper Store, B.Good and DSW have been announced. None of those individual stores have exact opening dates yet either.
