Morris County, NJ – Lakeland Hills Family YMCA has announced its registration dates for both Y members and the community at large. Most all youth and teen activities are open to the community so friends can take classes together. That holds true for adults as well, as the Y begins its co-ed Adult League Dodgeball in mid-January. Registration is Tuesday, December 12 at 6:00 pm for current Y members and Thursday, December 14 at 8:00 am for new and non-members.

The Winter Session lineup consists of engaging and educational programs designed to cater to the interests and needs of children aged 4 to 13. These programs provide a unique opportunity for kids to stay active, learn new skills, and have a blast while doing so. Some examples include:

Junior Parkour Games (Ages 4-7) on Tuesdays 4:00–4:45 PM & Saturdays 10:15–11:00 AM

Parents' favorite class for energetic kids! This non-competitive environment fosters teamwork and includes strength and conditioning, specialty skill development, and, most importantly, FUN games and obstacle courses. From escaping lava monsters to traveling through space, your child will unleash their inner ninja!

STEM Saturdays (Ages 4-8) on Saturdays 10:00–11:00 AM or 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

Join us for exciting science experiments and take-home projects during these 1-hour classes. With two time slots available, you can choose the one that fits your schedule best. Visit our website to discover the upcoming themes for each Saturday!

For those seeking fun and fitness, our Senior Parkour Fitness class is perfect. Strengthen your body, build endurance, and enjoy fitness challenges, obstacle courses, and exciting games. Climb the warp wall and vault to new heights!
