2 Elected To Point Pleasant Beach Council; Point Boro Results
Point Pleasant Beach and Point Pleasant Boro each had open seats on its councils to fill.
POINT PLEASANT - Two were re-elected to the Point Pleasant Beach Council on Tuesday.
Here were the results in the Point Pleasant Beach Council race:
- Council President Thomas H. Migut 1,370 30.59 percent
- Councilwoman Caryn S. Byrnes 1,409 31.46 percent
- Ernest J. Geiger Jr. 838 18.71 percent
- Thomas F. Brennan 850 18.98 percent

- Pamela Snyder 7,007 48.95 percent
- John Wisniewski 7,056 49.29 percent

Since the change to this year's election was announced by Gov. Phil Murphy because of the coronavirus, there have been many questions about how the process will work.
Every the ballot sent through the mail had to be postmarked by Nov. 3. It must be received by your county's election boards by 8 p.m. on Nov. 10.
"Every vote should be safe. Every vote should be secure. Every vote should be counted," Murphy said of the process.
