Bay Head to Vote in its Fire House
Bay Head not voting in Point Borough municipal building

Despite information released by Point Borough over the weekend, Bay Head registered voters will actually vote in their own fire house on Bridge Avenue, Point Borough Administrator David Maffei said on Monday morning.
"The polling location for residents of Bay Head Borough is now at the Bay Head Fire House," Maffei said. "It was moved out of our Borough Hall early this morning.
"All I know about the Bay Head change is that the (Ocean) County warehouse truck came here early this morning to take the machines to the Bay Head Fire House," Maffei wrote in an email.

A few Bay Head residents began noticing over the weekend that the Bay Head municipal website said voting would be at the fire house in Bay Head, even as Point Borough's Facebook page stated Bay Head residents would vote in Point Borough's Borough Hall. That post, from Sunday, was still on the Facebook page at 10:27 a.m. Monday.
