Beach Closures Addressed By Point Beach Officials

Borough officials spoke with Jenkinson's about what beaches will be open to the public for the fall and winter.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – In a post on the borough’s Facebook page, Point Pleasant Beach officials addressed complaints made about the lack of beach access over the past week.

“The Borough has been advised by Jenkinson’s that as of Sept. 8, there will open, free, unrestricted access to the beach all fall and winter at Broadway, Water Street, the Aquarium, and Arnold Ave.”

All other beach access points will be closed, according to officials. In addition, security guards won’t be present, and people will be able to get onto the beach after 7 p.m.
