Boro Football Feeling 'Excited' For The Season To Start Thursday
The Panthers host the Blue Devils of Shore Regional on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ – The Point Pleasant Boro football team kicks off its 2021 season on Thursday night at home against Shore Regional at 7 p.m.
The game against the Blue Devils is a divisional game as both are part of the Patriot Division along with Asbury Park, Barnegat, Manchester Township, and Jackson Liberty.
The only out-of-division game on the schedule for the Panthers this year is the season finale on Oct. 16 against Monmouth Regional.

Head coach Brian Staub is looking forward to getting the season and getting past last season’s 2-4 record.
“We have had a fast and strong start with our summer workouts and scrimmages in gearing up for the 2021 season. We have had tremendous senior leadership and our underclassmen are matching their relentless effort day in and day out,” Coach Staub said.

“These players and coaching staff have the same mindset in that we are all in a relentless pursuit to get Point Boro Football back to the top. We could not be more excited for this season, and every single day we try to get a little better in every aspect of the game of football.”

- Sept. 2 vs. Shore 7 p.m.
- Sept. 10 at Jackson Liberty 7 p.m.
- Sept. 17 at Asbury Park 6 p.m.
- Sept. 24 vs. Manchester 7 p.m.
- Oct. 8 vs. Barnegat 7 p.m.
- Oct. 16 at Monmouth 12 p.m.
