Bridge Inspection Causing Traffic Delays In Point Pleasant

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Drivers using the Loveland Town Bridge and Bridge Avenue on Thursday afternoon should expect delays due to work by the state Department of Transportation, Point Pleasant Police said in an alert.

The NJDOT is checking the interlocks on the bridge, police said, and the inspection is expected to continue until about 7 p.m. The inspection will cause longer lift times, police said.
