Bridge Maintenance Ongoing At Lovelandtown Span In Point Pleasant

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Drivers are being urged to take alternate routes until about 4 p.m. Wednesday while maintenance is performed on the Lovelandtown Bridge, police said.

Point Pleasant police said the state Department of Transportation is conducting maintenance on the bridge on Bridge Avenue, and as a result the lift times are extended.

The bridge could be open for as long as 10 minutes at a time, police said.
