Car Overturns In Point Beach, Two Injured In Route 35 North Crash

One car overturned on the sidewalk, police say.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH — Two people were injured recently in a two-vehicle accident at the corner of Forman Avenue and Route 35 North, according to the Ocean Star.

One car overturned onto the sidewalk on April 14 around 1:30 p.m, which closed a portion of the left lane of Route 35 North, police said.

The red Honda four-door sedan turned over on its side in front of a dental office.
The other vehicle, a gray Chrysler, had front end damage. Two passengers in the sedan were injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

Emergency personnel from the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department, a fire truck from Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No. 2 and the Point Pleasant Beach First Aid and Rescue Squad responded.
