Comic In Booze-Throwing Incident To Appear On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
A tweet from Jimmy Kimmel about Ariel Elias's handling of hecklers at a Point Pleasant Beach comedy club is leading her to a bigger stage.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The beer can that has taken over social media has launched the comedian who chugged it into the next level of her career.
Ariel Elias is being scheduled for an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," a spokesperson for the show confirmed to Patch Wednesday.
"The show is in touch and looking to find a date for her," the spokesperson said.

Kimmel was among the many celebrities and comedians who responded on Twitter to the video of the Saturday night incident, where Elias bantered with the woman who heckled her over voting for President Joe Biden, and then chugged the drink — which the Washington Post reported was a High Noon vodka and soda — thrown by the woman's husband after the woman walked out.
Dino Ibelli, the owner of Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club, said other patrons identified the couple, who he said live in Brick. Ibelli called Point Pleasant Beach police on Sunday. The police department on Tuesday said officers have filed an incident report but Elias so far has declined to press charges.

Kimmel retweeted one of Elias’s tweets, saying, “five stars for this flawless performance @Ariel_Comedy,” to which she replied: "Can I make my late night debut on your show?"
"Definitely," Kimmel replied.
On a podcast Tuesday with Gianmarco Soresi, the comedian she was opening for on Saturday night, Elias said she was still processing what happened. The incident has catapulted her into a spotlight that includes the addition of more than 110,000 followers on Twitter (she said she had fewer than 6,000 before Saturday night).
She said the people who have suggested the whole episode was staged make her laugh.
"As if I could plan anything," she said. "I can't even plan a party."
