Current Point Beach Board Members To Be Challenged In November

Four candidates, including two incumbents, are running for two spots on the Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education this fall.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – Four candidates, including the two incumbents, filed to run for the two slots up for election on the Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education this November, according to the Ocean County Clerk's office.

The two current members of the board, vice-president Stacey McGlinchy, and James Ireland, are running under the “Energy Excellence Experience” banner against John Durante and Elizabeth Boyle, who is running under the “Children First” banner.

The general election will take place on Nov. 2.
