Easter Egg Hunt Planned In Point Pleasant Beach

The Easter Egg Hunt, which has been pushed back because of the storm forecast, includes prizes. Be sure to wear your best spring hat.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee's Easter Egg Hunt has been postponed a week due to the anticipated nor'easter this weekend, officials said.

The Easter Egg Hunt now is set for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, at Pleasure Park, corner of Forman and St. Louis avenues.

You must register your child in advance to participate.

Registration can be completed on the recreation committee's website. The event is free.

The Egg Hunt is set to include music, crafts and a spring parade, with prizes awarded for the best decorated spring hat.

Attendees are urged to park on the street for the event, as the parking lot at St. Peter's Church is reserved for its church services.
