F. Aldyth VanCamp Conover, Former Assistant Principal Of Brick Elementary School, Dies At 95
Services are slated for Thursday and Friday for lifelong Point Pleasant resident.

F. Aldyth VanCamp Conover of Point Pleasant, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017. She was 95.
Born in Point Pleasant Beach to the late Oliver F. and Eulalia VanCamp, she was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Conover was a graduate of Centenary College and later earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in education at Monmouth University. She retired as a beloved assistant principal of the Emma Havens Young Elementary School, Brick. She was a communicant of the Church of Saint Uriel, Sea Girt.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, C. Harvey Conover, after 50 years of marriage.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Gail A. and Douglas Damiano; and three grandchildren, Douglas, Jr. and his fiancée Samantha, Dean, and Dawn Damiano.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 5 will be celebrated the Church of Saint Uriel the Archangel, 219 Philadelphia Blvd. Sea Girt, 08750, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle. Those attending the service on Friday may meet directly at the church.
