Halloween Curfew In Effect In Point Pleasant Beach
The police department has issued a reminder of when kids cannot be on the streets without a parent or guardian for Halloween.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The arrival of Halloween Eve brings with it the annual juvenile curfew in Point Pleasant Beach.
The police department issued a reminder about the curfew, which bars those 17 and younger from being "on any public street or in any public place" without a parent or guardian from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
The curfew allows exceptions for teens who are coming to or from work, an extracurricular school activity, an activity sponsored by a religious or community-based organization, or engaged in an errand involving a medical emergency.

Halloween trick-or-treating hours have not been set.
The curfew will end Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 a.m., police said.
