Jean M. Clarkson Dwyer Of Point Pleasant Beach Dies At 80

Jean M. Clarkson Dwyer, 80, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Friday, March 31, 2017.

Born in Plainfield to the late Elmer L. and Margaret (Farmer) Clarkson, she lived in Point Pleasant since 1969. and was truly devoted to her family. She was a communicant of the Catholic Community of Saint Peter, Point Pleasant Beach. Jean enjoyed line dancing.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 55 years, Lester W. Dwyer; and brothers, Elmer and Walter Clarkson. Surviving are her daughter, Theresa Koch and her husband David of Brick; two sons, William Dwyer of Point Pleasant, and Joseph Dwyer and his wife Kelly of Waretown. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Michael, Julia, and Casey; and many dear friends.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter R.C. Church, Forman & Saint Louis Aves., Point Pleasant Beach, followed by inurnment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
