It's one of the busiest weekends at Jersey Shore beaches as folks come out to catch some sun, some waves and in many cases stay for the fireworks.

Here is a look from Patch at the beach forecast for Fourth of July weekend for both during the day and the evening Fourth of July celebrations.

The good news is the weather is promising for the weekend, with the exception of Thursday evening. The National Weather Service is calling for clear skies through Sunday and no rain until Tuesday, meaning the majority of fireworks displays should go off without a hitch. A reminder to stay out of the water when lifeguards are not present. Rip current risk is low this weekend but the danger is never completely zero. Related: Rip Currents In NJ: What To Look For, How To Survive Them

Jellyfish reports are coming in from several points up and down the coast, with bays, lagoons and rivers close to the ocean all cited in the New Jersey Jellyspotters Facebook group by people who have encountered them.

Clinging jellyfish were found in June in the usual parts of northern Barnegat Bay and the Metedeconk River, according to Paul Bologna, the Montclair State biology professor and jellyfish expert, but there have not been any reports of serious issues.

Scattered reports of lion's mane jellyfish, mushroom cap jellies and bay nettles have come in as well in the group.

For those planning to spend time in the warmer bay waters, here is Bologna's advice on treating jellyfish stings: 1. Immediately after the sting, apply white vinegar. This stops any stinging cells that have not fired in the tentacles. 2. Rinse the sting area with the salt water you are in (bay or ocean) to gently wash away any tentacles. Do not use bottled water to rinse as osmotic shock will cause stinging cells left behind to fire and continue to sting. 3. Take a clean cloth/towel and wipe the area clean. Benadryl, over-the-counter pain medicine and calamine lotion are useful to deal with the sting afterward depending upon the severity.
