Jersey Shore Beach Report: Welcome To Summer Vacation
Here's a look at the Jersey Shore beach forecast for June 14-16, as schools around New Jersey let out for the summer.

JERSEY SHORE, NJ — Schools are letting out for the summer all over New Jersey, and this weekend's weather at the Jersey Shore looks like it will be the perfect kick off to the first full week of summer vacation.
Here's a look from Patch at the beach conditions for June 14-16 for those looking to soak up the warmth or just feel the sand between your toes. The water remains relatively chilly, so you may not want to swim just yet, but sunshine is expected to be plentiful, according to the National Weather Service.
Just a reminder that beach badges are required in many towns daily beginning Saturday. A number of towns have banned tents and canopies, and several are using new apps for selling daily beach badges. Related: 2024 Jersey Shore Beach Guide: Beach Badges, Town Curfews

More clinging jellyfish have been seen in samples in the Metedeconk River in Brick Township, according to the state Department of Environmental Protection's monitoring map for clinging jellyfish.
The clinging jellyfish, which have an extremely painful sting, have been found in more than a dozen spots along the river.
They're not the only jellyfish showing up: Sea nettles are making an appearance as well in Barnegat Bay," wrote Paul Bologna, the Montclair State professor and jellyfish expert, in the New Jersey Jellyspotters Facebook group. They can sting as well, but Bologna said their tentacles are typically too short in these early stages.
Rip current risk is low this weekend, according to the weather service.
