Jack Nolan, a Point Pleasant High School student, was one of 80 boys competing in a special event that paired teens with PGA Tour pros.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — A Point Pleasant Boro High School golfer got to enjoy a dream over the weekend, playing golf at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links in California.
Jack Nolan, 17, is one of 80 teen golfers who got to compete in the 2025 PURE Insurance Championship Impacting First Tee at Pebble Beach and at Spyglass Hill Golf Course.
The tournament paired teens who are participating in First Tee, a youth development program based around golf, with PGA Tour Champions professionals and amateurs from the business world for a week of competition and mentorship, according to a news release. First Tee aims to help boys and girls learn life lessons and skills through playing golf, teaching them inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience, the organization says.

The First Tee Jersey Shore chapter said Nolan's week in Pebble Beach included practice rounds at The Hay and Spyglass Hill; the Legends & Leaders Viewing Party on the 18th green and the Pairings Party with Chevron.
