Kiwanis Kids Club to Collect Used Crayons, Coins
Rain date Sunday April 27th same times!

Kiwanis Kids, or K-Kids, a free community service club for kids 6 to 11, will be at the Pt. Pleasant Boro Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 26 from 12-4 p.m. at Riverfront Park in Pt. Pleasant Boro.
The club will be hosting a penny war fundraiser, where members of the public will be able to donate coins to K-Kids, Allaire Community Farm, or both. Both organizations will receive all rpoceeds collected, though the one with the most points will have bragging rights as the official winner.
The children are collecting old crayons. They will melt them down into shaped molds, reusing the crayons and selling the "new" ones at Pt. Boro Summerfest in June.

Children can stop by the K-Kids tent to paint one shell, which they can then take with them to share elsewhere or hide in the park. The shells should have a positive message on them, encouraging children to practice kindness.
K-Kids will hold a meeting that morning at the park at 10:30 a.m. at their tent. If you'd like to check out a meeting, please bring your child 6 to 11. Parents/guardians MUST stay with children at all K-Kids events. To learn more or register your child, sign up at www.pointpleasantkiwanis.org/k-kids
