Local Nursing Facility Teams With Mary's Table To Help The Needy

Mary's Table provides over 300 hot meals to homebound people and those going through food insecurity.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ – Crest Pointe Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Point Pleasant recently partnered with Mary’s Table, a ministry of St. Mary’s by the Sea Episcopal Church of Point Pleasant Beach, to help feed more than 300 residents in need.

Through the generosity and assistance of area businesses and volunteers, Mary’s Table provides free hot meals to hundreds of housebound area residents and those facing food insecurity every week.

“Mary’s Table and Crest Pointe have a shared spirit of compassion and caring for the Point Pleasant community,” Pam Montemurno, regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports Crest Pointe, said in a press release.

“Mary’s Table has served as a lifeline for many in the area, particularly during the pandemic. Week in and week out, their dedicated volunteers are doing incredible work, from packaging meals to delivering food to those in need and so much more. It’s humbling to see in action.”
