Funds raised from Pine Belt Mazda test drive event will benefit the school's Beyond Point Program

On Thursday, November 13, members of the Point Pleasant community attended the free test drive event hosted by Pine Belt Mazda at Point Pleasant High School to raise funds for the school. The event raised $10,000 that will go towards the school’s Beyond Point Program, which is designed to improve discipline, performance, and development.

Dave Johnson, Teacher and Football Coach at Point Pleasant High School, explained "the Be On Point program is fundamentally designed to create a positive, supportive, and achievement-focused environment at Point Pleasant Boro High School. By actively promoting our three pillars, Respect, Responsibility, and Pride, we empower students to succeed while simultaneously working to foster a strong, collaborative connection between the school and the entire Point Pleasant community."

As part of Mazda’s Be Moved Drive Program, Mazda donated $50 for every qualifying test drive to support Point Pleasant High School’s Beyond Point Program. The money raised will go directly to the program, which is meant to promote positive behavior and foster a creative learning environment.
