Helmed by father-in-law-and-son duo “Pops” and Brian Neiman, Pop’s Corner opened in late July after Pop’s four-decade career in the fashion industry.
“Since his initial food foray in high school and college years, Pops dreamed of having his own restaurant someday,” the Pop’s Corner website reads.

“Brian visited Point Pleasant Beach every year with his family to spend summers vacationing and relaxing. However, there were no brunch restaurants within walking distance anywhere near — they always had to hop in the car and drive for a family meal.”

Neiman had been working in the banking industry and was a vice president at JP Morgan Chase until October 2021, when the opportunity to take on the Beach Diner site presented itself.
When Pops and Neiman noticed the vacant site of the Beach Diner, which closed during the coronavirus pandemic and never reopened, Neiman said he and his father-in-law saw an opportunity to provide the experience they wanted and jumped at the chance.
The duo renovated the property for more than a year to turn it into a dining spot.
To-go options and freshly brewed coffee are also available, as well as wrapped items from the adjoining gourmet store.
Pop’s Corner is open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
