Our school supply event was a huge success ! Thank you all who dropped off so many needed items.

The Woman's Club of Pt. Plsnt. wants to thank all the people who donated so many very needed school supplies. You helped so many children.

The Woman's Club of Point Pleasant was asked to help collect school supplies for needy children in our area. You, the people in our and surrounding communities, helped us make sure a couple of hundred children are going back to school with the supplies they need.

We received a lot of the items on the list: backpacks, lunchboxes, ice packs, coloring supplies, writing supplies, glue varieties, rulers, notebooks, folders, erasers, scissors, colored paper, post it notes, & pencil cases. This is an awesome start for these children to go back to school prepared. These are renewable items that will need to be replaced or added to over the school year.

Many people have therefore reached out to us asking how they may keep helping with donations. There are several businesses that will accept donations for these children through "Panthers Lets Eat" organization. Divi Tree Coffee, Revive Health & Wellness, Sundae Fundae, all on Bridge Ave., and Beaver Dam Hardware on Beaver Dam Rd.

Many people also use these drop off locations during the summer months to donate non-perishable food, & children's snacks since the children are not into the lunch program until Sept. when they return to school.

Our club thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support you give to our events. Your dedication to our club has made all our endeavors successful. Without your help, we would not be able to help so many people and organizations that come to us with requests.
