Point Beach Cops Brace For Unauthorized Beach Party On Friday
Point Beach police are warning of a possible event similar to what happened in Seaside Heights a few weeks ago

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ - Point Pleasant Beach police and other local, county and state authorities are prepping for a possible large crowd on Friday, after learning of an advertisement touting a “Beach Party” on Friday, June 29, Police Chief Joseph A. Michigan said.
The advertisement promoting the event is similar to one that sent unexpected crowds to Seaside Heights and Seaside Park over Father’s Day weekend. The ad states the event will run from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., the chief said on the police department's Facebook page.
"There is NO specific location for the event at this time, but the police department is monitoring the event very closely with the assistance of Local, County, and State agencies.," Michigan said. "To ensure the safety of the residents and visitors of our town, the Police Department is taking every necessary step, and as a precaution, you should expect to see a very high presence of law enforcement on this date."
