Point Beach Little League Starts New Jersey Section 3 Tournament
The first-year District 11 champions will be taking on Toms River East on Monday at 8 p.m.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – The Point Pleasant Beach Little League team, who recently defeated Ocean Township to win their first-ever District 11 championship, will be starting the five-team double-elimination New Jersey Section 3 Tournament tonight at 8 p.m.
The kids from Point Beach will take on the Toms River East LL team, and the winner will face the winner of the 6 p.m. game between Sunnybrae and Tinton Falls. The loser will face Milltown, who lost 2-0 to Sunnybrae on Sunday.
The Section 3 tournament will continue through July 23 in Hamilton, with the winner heading to the Joe Graziano Little League State Tournament, which will be held July 28 to Aug 2 at Cherry Hill.
