Point Beach's Memorial Day Bike Parade Rescheduled To Monday
The borough's recreation committee made the change due to anticipated bad weather on Saturday.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ –The Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee, anticipating some inclement weather this weekend, rescheduled the borough’s annual Memorial Day Bike Parade from the 29 to Monday, May 31.
Participants are asked to meet at the Dollar General parking lot at 9:45 a.m. as the parade will make its way down Arnold Avenue and stop at Memorial Park near Silver Lake.
Any veteran planning on attending the ceremony should get to Memorial Park by 10:45 a.m. as the ceremony will start at 11 with a statement from Mayor Paul Kanitra.

Over on the boardwalk, Jenkinson’s will be holding two events for guests over this weekend; on May 28, from 6 -11 p.m., Jenkinson's having a wristband night where guests can ride all the rides with no limit for only $27, including the 7D Dark Ride and the ropes course.
On Memorial day, Jenkinson's is hosting its Canines & Cocktails event at Jenk’s Inlet Bar from 5-9 p.m., where guests can bring their dogs and enjoy some drinks with fellow dog owners.
