Point Boro Releases Fall 2021 Recreation Schedule

The borough of Point Pleasant offers kids many different programs, events, and activities throughout the fall.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ – The Point Pleasant Borough Recreation Department, along with Mayor Robert Saboisk and the borough council, have recently announced the Fall 2021 recreation schedule for the borough.

There are all different types of activities, programs, and events offered by the borough this fall.

On Fridays from Oct. 1 to Nov. 19, the borough is offering a children’s martial arts and personal safety class from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the recreation center. The cost for the 8-week program is $100.

The borough is also offering an eight-week soccer clinic at the Arnold Avenue Field for kids ages seven to 14 every Thursday from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. start Sept. 23 and going until Nov. 11. The price for this program is $115.

The borough also offers a wrestling program for two groups, kindergarten through fifth graders and third through eighth-graders. Both groups meet on Tuesdays and Thursday nights at the Point Boro High School Wrestling Room, with the K-fifth-grade program taking place from 6-7 p.m. starting Dec. 2 through Jan. 27 and the third through eighth-grade program starting on Nov. 2 and going from 7-8 p.m. from Nov. 2 through Jan. 27.

The K-fifth-grade program costs $110 and is a program for beginners to the sports who want to learn the sport, and the third through eighth-grade program is $160 and is for kids who are ready to participate in actual matches.
